University of Westminster, 35 Marylebone Road, London, NW1 5LS
Main Speakers: Enrique Fernandez-Pino and Steve Wake
Most of us will have been in a situation where we need to convert a vague concept in the mind of a sponsor, into a project or programme of work. This is not an easy task! Enrique will use GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) as a good example of how to convert a vague concept, such as a new piece of legislation, into a pragmatic and executable set of streams and project plan. He will describe the approach and stages followed by his Company to ensure that the organisation is ready for the May 2018 deadline.
Steve will then elaborate on a different topic very important to the Project Management professionals, presenting his considerations on the Earned Value Analysis (EVA) which is a method of measuring a project's progress at any given point in time, forecasting its completion date and final cost, and analyzing variances in the schedule and budget as the project proceeds.
